Primrose Gardens at Valley Park

When searching for your forever home, finding a place where you feel comfortable and truly part of the community is essential. Primrose Gardens at Valley Park, a Taylor Wimpey development in Abingdon, has been designed with this very goal in mind. Taylor Wimpey emphasised that a key focus of the development’s five show homes was to create a sense of inclusivity and community, showcasing each homeowner's possible different personality whilst maintaining a harmonious flow as you explore the individual spaces.

We understand the importance of inclusivity and were inspired by the concept of celebrating individuality within each home while maintaining a strong sense of community. To bring this vision to life, we took it a step further by crafting unique personas for each home, allowing the stories of the homeowners to blend together, creating a vibrant and inclusive community atmosphere.

The Hartdale is a two-bedroom apartment owned by Emmett, who is extremely environmentally focused. It was crucial that their sustainability commitments were shown through the design of their home, creating an organic and earthy atmosphere while still being full of character. Emmett's personable character allows them to bond and develop relationships with numerous neighbours. When they aren’t working at the local pub, Emmett often volunteers at the local community centre where they’ve bonded with elderly neighbour, Valerie. When you first enter their space, you are greeted with a bold piece of artwork stating, “Everyone Is Welcome”. Not only does this refer to community and inclusivity but also showcases Emmett’s outgoing and unique personality. The colour palette is intriguing, utilising muted colours neutral gender properties. When adventuring deeper into the home, you find sustainable materials featured throughout the design, embodying Emmett’s sustainable commitment and interests.

The Eynsford is a three-bedroom home owned by Sandy & William with their child Bella. Sandy and William are both very sporty and understand the importance of staying active. William is a PE teacher at the local high school, whilst Sandy has taken a career break to care for their young child but teaches yoga when she can. Emmett attends Sandys yoga lessons, where they both bonded over the importance of body and mind wellbeing. Sandy and William's home is filled with relaxing and calming elements, using a sophisticated, neutral colour palette. Bella's bedroom is filled with nature-inspired fun, using grass wall lettering and wildlife styling to add personality.

The Harrton is a three-bedroom home owned by Matt and James. Matt owns his own honey business which he runs at home, while James works in the local pub, alongside Emmett. James has recently discovered a newfound love for running and often participates in local park runs. Matt patiently waits for him at the café, where both are joined by Sandy and William for a post-run coffee. Matt's office is the perfect blend of professionalism and character; by using honeycomb style shelving and golden styling items, this room truly represents Matt’s passion, and provides him with a private space to be productive.

The Trenton is a four-bedroom home owned by Marcus and Suzie, along with their two children, Archie and Isla. They have chosen Valley Park for its relaxing and calming feel, using their home as their sanctuary from their hectic daily lives. Archie attends the local high school, where William (his favourite teacher) teaches PE. Hints of bold cobalt blue can be seen throughout the bottom floor, adding that vibrant, happy atmosphere. When exploring the upstairs, each bedroom has its own unique style depending on the person's character, acting as a private escape for each individual.

The Aynesdale is a three-bedroom home owned by Valerie and her late husband Malcolm. Valerie is young at heart and continues to be active and sociable. Her home very much embodies this lifestyle; infusing each room with a muted green and pink colour palette, with accents of floral pattern incorporated in panelling, furniture items, and styling pieces. Valerie includes these floral features to portray her love for nature. When taking care of Bella, both enjoy visiting the nature preserve in the centre of the community. This open area is filled with hedgehog and bird houses, alongside bee and butterfly posts and bug-friendly wall art.

This innovative design appeals to buyers not only for its creativity but also for its ability to help them envision themselves as part of the community. The inclusive characters allow anyone to feel a sense of connection and belonging. By utilising the local surroundings benefits, and the general passion for community and individuality, Primrose Gardens at Valley Park is a welcoming development representing inclusivity and acceptance.

On 2nd and 3rd November, Primrose Gardens at Valley Park are hosting a first-time buyer’s event for those taking their first steps onto the property ladder. Don’t miss out on learning new, valuable information, as well as checking out the character-infused show homes.
