Mind Over Miles

Did you know that 1 in 4 people will experience mental health challenges each year? As of March 2024, approximately 1.93 million individuals in England are in contact with mental health services. At SBI, we recognise the impact mental health challenges can have and the importance of speaking out, ensuring no one has to face these battles alone.

On the 13th of August, our team will be undertaking an extraordinary challenge: walking the entire Sandstone Trail (34 miles) in just 24 hours. Our "Mind Over Miles" hike aims to raise awareness about mental health and emphasise that no one has to face these struggles alone. The Sandstone Trail is a significant hike, stretching from one end of Cheshire to the other, demanding hard work, determination, consistency, and strength— all traits held by our team at SBI.

Prioritising mental health is essential, which is why we provide BHSF Rise to all our team members, giving them access to 24-hour counselling whenever needed. We are dedicated to spreading awareness and support for mental health, and here’s how we’re making a difference:

Jackie, Founder of Show Business Interiors, emphasises the company's commitment to employee well-being: "We understand that everyone has a life outside of work, and it can be challenging to find the help and support you need. That's why having BHSF Rise available through work is so important; it provides 24-hour counselling for our team. At SBI, we're more than just a company: we recognise the struggles people face, and it's crucial for our team to view work as a supportive and enjoyable environment.”

Training camps have already started, and here’s how you can help:
